Visit Health is a pioneering health-tech platform, founded in 2016 by BITS Pilani alumni, dedicated to making healthcare accessible, affordable, and preventive. Originated as a telemedicine platform during the 2015 Swine Flu epidemic, Visit Health has grown into an all-in-one wellness ecosystem that connects doctors, insurers, and millions of families. Our services range from physical and mental wellness to OPD benefits, empowering both individuals and corporations to prioritize well-being.

Founding Team

The founding team — Chetan Anand, Anurag Prasad, Vaibhav Singh, and Shashvat Tripathi — established Visit Health to bridge the healthcare gap in India. Driven by their experiences with limited healthcare access in Pilani, they have built Visit Health into a platform that advocates quality, accessible healthcare for everyone.

Mandatory Academic Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from an institution recognized by the NMC or the erstwhile Medical Council of India (MCI).
  • Postgraduate Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) in General Medicine/Internal Medicine OR Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in General Medicine, which is considered equivalent to an MD for clinical practice in India.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in hospital or clinical settings is advantageous.

Professional Registration & Licensing

  • KMC Registration: Must hold a valid and permanent registration with the Karnataka Medical Council (KMC). This is mandatory for legal practice within the state.
  • Additional Qualification Registration: The MD or DNB degree must be formally registered as an "Additional Qualification" with the KMC or the National Medical Commission (NMC).
  • Renewal: Registration must be renewed every five years as per the Karnataka Medical Registration Act. 

Job Description

  • Strong expertise in diagnosing, managing, and treating a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Proficient in analysing and interpreting diagnostic tests, including laboratory results and imaging studies.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking, physical exams, and investigations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment and management plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals.
  • Provide guidance on preventive medicine, lifestyle modification, and health promotion.
  • Manage complex cases and coordinate referrals to subspecialists when required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.

 Statutory Records: Responsible for maintaining medico-legal records and reporting notifiable diseases to state health authorities in compliance with Indian law.
